Meet the Instructor
Hi, I'm Dana. My herbal journey started over 20 years ago when a few of my family members were dealing with health issues. I wanted to do something meaningful to support them, so I began learning about herbs—and I never stopped. What began as curiosity turned into a deep passion and eventually, a calling.
Today, I’m the Lead Herbalism Instructor at the School of Natural Medicine. I absolutely love sharing what I’ve learned—not just the knowledge, but the experience. What matters most to me is building real relationships with my students. I want them to feel confident using herbs, knowing they can do so safely and effectively. There's nothing better than watching someone grow into their own rhythm with plant medicine, trusting their intuition and deepening their connection to nature.
My teaching style is hands-on, heart-centered, and always rooted in respect for the plants and the traditions they come from. Whether we're blending formulas or exploring energetics, it’s about empowering people to find their voice through herbal wisdom.
